Our client, a rapidly growing security startup, is hiring a Senior Security Engineer. This is a hybrid role based in Boston, requiring 4 days onsite in Back Bay. Backed by top-tier investors and early traction with design partners, they’re assembling a core technical team with expertise in security engineering, automation, and AI. If you’re excited about building from the ground up in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment, this role is ideal. Full-Time Hybrid in Back Bay Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of hands-on experience in security operations, including roles in SOC, Blue Team, or incident response Proficient with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms Skilled in scripting and automation using Python or similar languages Cloud security experience is a plus, but not required Broad knowledge and genuine passion for cybersecurity across multiple domains Excellent analytical thinking and communication abilities Desired Skills & Experience Computer science degree is highly preferred Startup experience What You Will Be Doing: Tech Breakdown SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) – 20% SOAR (Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, Swimlane) – 15% EDR (CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, SentinelOne) – 15% Daily Responsibilities 70% Hands-On 30% Team Collaboration or Client Facing The Offer Bonus or Commission eligible Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Benefits Vision Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) (including match if applicable) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
