Key responsibilities include: Triage and assess incoming security issues, prioritizing remediation efforts with impacted service teams. Communicate the status of issues to diverse audiences, including AWS leadership and technical teams. Escalate concerns to senior AWS leadership when necessary to ensure timely resolutions. Explore and enhance tools to improve productivity and support global engineering teams. Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior staff while fulfilling on-call responsibilities. Basic Requirements: BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of proven experience in systems, network, or application security. 2+ years of scripting experience in any language, with Python being ideal. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of best practices across multiple security domains. Experience with virtualization technologies (preferably AWS). Strong ability to collaborate and influence across teams. Excellent communication skills across technical and business leadership. The base salary for this position ranges from $143,300 to $247,600 per year, depending on market location, skills, and experience.
