Position Summary:
The Senior Salesforce Engineer will design scalable, best-in-class Salesforce solutions aligned with complex business processes. Translate requirements into optimized architecture using Salesforce features and automation tools. Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform strategy with business goals. Mentor team members and third-party contributors on best practices, standards, and compliance. Lead solution development, technical documentation, and continuous improvement efforts across the Salesforce ecosystem. Status:  Full-time | Salaried Location:  Omaha, NE | Onsite Responsibilities: Architecture & Solution Design: Design, develop and maintain scalable Salesforce architecture. Translate business requirements into optimized, compliant technical solutions using Apex, Flows and Lightning components. Build and maintain integrations with external systems as well as automating complex business processes. Business Collaboration & Planning: Partner with stakeholders to define needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications. Contribute to roadmap planning; evaluate and recommend platform enhancements and Salesforce products based on evolving business needs. Platform Governance & Performance: Define and uphold coding and configuration standards. Monitor system health and performance. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance scalability, compliance, and user experience. Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer: Mentor internal team members and external partners. Promote knowledge sharing and ensure consistent adherence to Salesforce standards. Lead training, documentation, and change control processes. Project Leadership & Support: Lead solution design efforts and collaborate with analysts, developers, and project managers. Define functional and technical requirements in tickets for other members of the team, create architectural diagrams or technical specs when needed, create testing plans, deployment instructions, and post-launch support. Provide production and on-all support as part of a rotational schedule. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) required Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience combined (one year of experience equals one year of education) required Minimum of five years of experience developing Salesforce solutions required Minimum of three years of experience in a team lead role required Minimum of two Salesforce certifications required Expertise in multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.) required Proficiency in Salesforce automation tools, Apex, and Lightning Web Components required Proficiency with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns required Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills required Experience mentoring teams and leading solution delivery required Salesforce Designer or Architecture certifications preferred Active participation in the Salesforce community preferred Benefits Include: Medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance with in 30 days Unlimited PTO - work with your manager and take time as needed 7 paid holidays that we are closed $50 cell phone stipend paid out monthly 401k retirement plan with vested 4% employer match after 90 days Career advancement opportunities + Culture/environment Employees and their spouse or legal partner receive free laser hair removal services
