Senior Reliability Engineer / Balance of Plant (BOP) Engineer
Location: NW Atlanta, GA
Pay: ~ $110,000-$115,000
Join a leader in the heavy industrial sector as a Senior Balance of Plant (BOP) Engineer. You'll play a crucial role in the specification, coordination, and problem resolution of non-company engineered equipment. This position demands a highly organized professional capable of making impactful decisions regarding layout, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage documentation for BOP equipment proposals and projects
- Review client specifications and negotiate with vendors
- Create and review technical specs for RFQs
- Generate QRs and PRs
- Maintain clear communication with project managers, engineers, and vendors
- Coordinate drawing reviews and change orders
- Conduct limited field investigations
- Resolve construction and commissioning issues
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 10+ years of heavy industrial experience with BOP functions
- Experience with bulk material movers, fans, blowers, bag houses, pneumatic conveying systems, and burners
- Proficient in reviewing and marking up drawings
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Reliability engineering experience
- Experience with international companies
- Basic AutoCAD and SAP knowledge
