About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Refrigeration Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced cooling systems for refrigeration products. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead innovative projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute significantly to the advancement of refrigeration technology. Our hybrid work model allows you to work in our Chicago office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with the flexibility to choose your workspace for the remainder of the week.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and participate in project teams focused on New Product Development, Continuous Product Improvement, and Feature Innovation.
Design, test, and review refrigeration-based sealed systems, ensuring functionality and reliability across product lines.
Utilize 8D problem-solving methodology to identify root causes of issues and develop corrective action plans.
Conduct engineering analyses using mathematical and computer-based tools to create innovative cooling solutions.
Develop technical drawings, models, and specifications with engineering software.
Conduct testing, analyze data, and interpret results to assess performance, reliability, and safety.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines.
Stay informed about advancements in cooling systems and industry trends.
Engage in continuous learning through training programs, workshops, and conferences.

Hands-on approach to prototype development and laboratory testing.
Ability to manage multiple projects or system variants simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
Effective interpersonal skills for conveying technical information.
Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
At least 10 years of relevant experience in an engineering role.
