Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support software testing efforts across a variety of technology platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in test planning, automation, and execution, as well as strong collaboration and leadership skills to drive quality standards throughout the development lifecycle. Responsibilities: Identify test cases for automation from existing test documentation. Create, enhance, debug, and execute both manual and automated test cases. Organize and manage the defect lifecycle and related processes. Design test processes, cases, and data, ensuring alignment with project requirements. Participate in testing procedure walkthroughs and requirement analysis. Prepare comprehensive test-related reports and documentation. Ensure adherence to defined quality standards and processes across the team. Leverage modern tools and trends to recommend testing innovations and process improvements. Represent the QA team in cross-functional meetings and interact with stakeholders as needed. Supervise testing activities and provide mentorship and training to QA team members. Estimate test efforts and plan test activities throughout the software lifecycle. Drive continuous improvement through the use of QA metrics. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing, including planning, automation, and execution across SDLC methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Iterative, Lean, or Waterfall). Proven ability to lead test efforts and validate testable requirements. Proficient with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, UFT, Rational Functional Tester, or BrowserStack. Experience with automation planning and mentoring within QA teams. Hands-on experience creating and maintaining a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM). Strong knowledge of defect tracking and test case management tools. Demonstrated expertise testing applications across Windows, Linux, web, mobile, client-server, and cloud platforms. Skilled in SQL query design and execution. Experience setting up test environments on Microsoft Azure or AWS.
