Senior Production Engineer

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Production Engineer to join our team in Port Arthur, United States. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards across our production facilities.
Develop and implement production strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
Analyze production data and processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
Design and oversee the implementation of quality control systems and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement solutions
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Manage production projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to improve production capabilities
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all production activities
Mentor and train junior engineers and production staff on best practices and new technologies
Prepare and present detailed reports on production performance, efficiency metrics, and improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production engineering or a related field
Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost-saving measures
Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
Proficiency in software and production planning tools
Experience with quality control systems and continuous improvement initiatives
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
Strong project management abilities and experience leading cross-functional teams
Proficient in data analysis and report preparation
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and environmental regulations in manufacturing
Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
