The Role: As a Senior Principal Software Development Engineer, you will plan, design, and architect complex ServiceNow solutions, including both inbound and outbound integrations. Your expertise will involve working with various systems, leveraging REST technologies, and ensuring data flows efficiently between ServiceNow and other platforms. Responsibilities: Architect and implement high-impact integrations across enterprise systems, ensuring smooth data flow in a complex cloud architecture. Develop real-world, bi-directional integrations within ServiceNow. Utilize tools like APIGEE and Kafka to build scalable integrations, from initial API setup to monitoring performance and troubleshooting. Act as a lead technical architect and developer, collaborating with teams to define integration requirements and enforce best practices. Provide mentorship to other developers and serve as an expert in ServiceNow and integrations. Debug and optimize integrations for performance, stability, and maintainability. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, integrations, and custom API development. Expertise in REST, pub/sub/queueing systems, OAuth, and web technologies. Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow's scoped applications. Experience with MID Server setup and configuration. Deep understanding of ServiceNow's data models and CMDB. Familiarity with the ServiceNow CSM application/module. Ability to conduct complex data architecture and identify potential architectural pitfalls. Must be capable of obtaining Security Clearance. Compensation: This reflects the anticipated base salary range based on national data, varying by location and individual qualifications. Salary ranges: $149,084 - $198,779; $156,539 - $208,718; and $163,993 - $218,657 across various states.
