Genies is an AI avatar and games technology company focused on empowering user generated content through AI avatars and social gaming ecosystems. The Senior Pipeline Engineer will be based in the Los Angeles headquarters (hybrid) and will support User Generated Content initiatives by steering asset pipeline projects to develop and maintain tools and workflows to increase capabilities and efficiency. Responsibilities include designing and evolving the 3D content pipeline integrating traditional DCC workflows with a modern cloud-native pipeline, driving pipeline initiatives end-to-end, building scalable asset management and processing tools, providing front-line support for asset tracking and ingestion, modernizing legacy workflows with cloud-based solutions and automation, anticipating cross-department needs, and collaborating with Content, Engineering, and Avatar Technology teams to improve automated systems for asset processing. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience in games, media, or interactive content industry in technical or pipeline engineering roles, production experience in 3D content creation and graphics pipelines, advanced proficiency in Python, familiarity with C++ and C#, experience designing APIs, understanding of backend systems, experience with DevOps tools, and comfort working across multiple platforms. The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
