Job Description
Our client is looking for a  Senior Operations Project Engineer  to lead the planning, design, and execution of capital projects across multiple grain handling and processing facilities. This role is focused on improving operations through safe, efficient, and compliant facility upgrades and new construction projects. Oversee all phases of capital projects, from feasibility and design through construction and commissioning.
Develop and manage project budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and contractor/vendor coordination.
Prepare project documentation, including bid packages, scope of work, specifications, and equipment recommendations.
Collaborate with site leaders and cross-functional teams to align projects with business and operational goals.
Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and operational optimization.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
Provide ongoing project reporting and status updates to leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Mechanical preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of combined project management and construction experience.
Background in material handling, bulk storage, or industrial facility design preferred.
Skilled with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
