Accountabilities:
Design, implement, and optimize scalable LAN/WAN infrastructure and enterprise-grade network solutions using technologies from Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba, and others. Lead full lifecycle project execution, from planning through closure, including strategic documentation and migration plans. Provide expert troubleshooting for outages, performance bottlenecks, and security concerns in both implementation and managed service contexts. Support managed service clients, perform updates, triage tickets, and maintain network monitoring systems. Implement and manage network security systems such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and remote access protocols. Contribute to presales efforts in partnership with sales teams, including solution development and client presentations. Mentor junior engineers and support their development through technical guidance and documentation. Participate in risk management activities, escalating issues when needed and contributing to process improvements. Collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and successful delivery of solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest networking technologies, automation tools, and industry best practices. Requirements 10+ years of experience in network/security engineering roles, ideally with client-facing implementation responsibilities. Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field preferred; industry certifications including CCIE and PCNSE required. Hands-on experience with technologies including Cisco ASA, FirePower, ISE, ACI, Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba/Cisco wireless, and scripting for network automation. Familiarity with Juniper, F5, and VoIP systems such as Cisco Call Manager is a strong advantage. Demonstrated ability to lead projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and create clear documentation. Proficient with Microsoft Office and network design tools like Visio. Excellent communication, client management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong analytical mindset, proactive problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure.
