We're doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain. Essential Duties: The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for design, development, configuration, troubleshooting, administration, and support of Redwood Material's corporate and OT internal network infrastructures. This role is crucial in maintaining network performance, availability, and integrity across the company, while implementing security best practices and supporting rapid business scaling. Responsibilities will include: Design, implement and administer routing, switching, LAN & WAN architectures, Wi-Fi, and firewall policies that will scale Support Corporate and Manufacturing / Operational Technology (OT) operations Partner with cross-functional teams to discover business needs and drive requirements for networking solutions Author and maintain detailed design documents, system architecture diagrams, and SOPs Work with IT & OT teams on interface systems such as DMZs, firewalls, VPNs, and Layer 3 switches Provide break/fix support for network issues Participate in an on-call support rotation Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in Networking Expert knowledge of routing (BGP, OSPF), switching, tunneling protocols (MSTP, IPSec, EVPN/VXLAN), and infrastructure architecture for scalability and redundancy Experience with campus wireless systems & AAA support Ability to manage infrastructure monitoring systems Experience with industrial systems and protocols like SCADA, OPC, Profinet, CIP, Modbus, Ethernet/IP Experience with hardware such as Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, Aruba Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact Physical & Working Conditions: Ability to perform essential functions safely, maintaining attendance and productivity standards Work environment may include office or outdoor settings, with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes, and extended periods in PPE Physical activities include climbing, standing, stooping, typing Occasional work on weekends, nights, on-call, and travel The position is full-time, located in McCarran, Nevada, with compensation based on experience.
