Your Role as a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L3) As a key member of our team, the Networking Managed Services Engineer (L3) is responsible for delivering exceptional managed services to our clients. You will proactively identify and resolve complex technical incidents and problems, ensuring that our clients enjoy a high level of service and zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions. Key Responsibilities Include: Configure, install, test, and ensure operational readiness of infrastructure at client sites. Apply monitoring tools to proactively respond to alerts and identify potential incidents before they escalate. Log all incidents in a timely manner with detailed information, assisting with support call analysis and escalation. Perform investigations for third line support calls and determine root causes of incidents. Provide onsite technical support and field engineering services to clients. Conduct monthly reviews of incidents, recommending improvements for quality assurance. Continuously communicate updates to clients and maintain accurate records in prescribed systems. Identify work optimization and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency. Manage projects within your technology domain, delivering on client requirements effectively. Implement and conduct Disaster Recovery functions and testing as needed. Undertake any additional related tasks as required. Proficiency in technologies including Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Nexus, ASR/ISR routers, and more. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT/Computing or equivalent experience. CCNP or relevant certification. Additional certifications relevant to the provided services will be considered a plus. Experience Required: Significant experience in an engineering role within a medium to large ICT organization. Extensive background in managed services. Comprehensive knowledge of ITIL processes. Experience working with vendors and 3rd parties.
