Overview

Sedaro is hiring a Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer to build the complex, high fidelity simulations that power our cutting-edge Digital Twin platform and help revolutionize how the next generation of aerospace technology is built.

  • Team: Modeling & Simulation, reporting to the Team Lead
  • Location: In person in Arlington, VA
  • U.S. Citizen or permanent resident status required

What Youll Do

As a Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer, you will be a hands-on individual contributor focused on expanding our platform's simulation capabilities. Your responsibilities will :

  • Taking ownership of technical projects and driving development.
  • Developing and implementing high-fidelity simulations and analysis for a diverse range of complex systems and validating these models against real-world data.
  • Configuring and executing large-scale multi-simulation studies, leveraging cloud compute resources for uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis, and optimization.
  • Performing code reviews for peers and providing technical feedback and suggestions to other engineering teams to drive platform improvement.
  • Supporting regular contract meetings with technical input and demonstrations to external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of applicable engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in physics, applied math, engineering, or similar
  • Expertise developing models of complex physical systems
  • Experience validating simulation models against real-world data
  • Experience with modern software development and testing practices
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization
  • Able to obtain a TS security clearance
