Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bartlett, IL. Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for new projects and designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, product managers, and manufacturing personnel. Perform simulations and tests to validate designs and improve performance. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns. Prepare detailed documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices into engineering processes. Participate in project meetings and communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Project management experience is a plus. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required.
