Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Boston and Framingham offices
We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering to design energy-efficient building systems. The role involves all project phases, working with a team of engineers to design mechanical systems for various clients.
Required Experience
10+ years as a mechanical engineer
EIT or PE certification
Project management experience
Client interfacing skills
Experience with cooling and heating plants
MEP design expertise
Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD
Responsibilities
Manage projects and design heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and plumbing systems
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
Attend meetings with clients and architects
Guide staff engineers on energy-efficient designs
Review contractor submittals for compliance
Apply engineering techniques and procedures
Collaborate with team members to resolve system issues
Evaluate customer proposals and specifications
Specify system components and modifications
Design and evaluate mechanical products and systems
Provide feedback to design engineers
