We provide the latest tools, training, and support to advance your career and ambitions. Role Overview: Senior Mechanical Engineer, R&D Sustaining Engineering Neuromodulation Devices. Focus on supporting the product lifecycle, leading design changes, and developing new technologies for devices that improve patient quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Resolve urgent issues using engineering expertise. Develop technology, designs, testing protocols, specifications, and research investigations. Design and analyze complex engineering tests and experiments. Prepare reports and present updates to management and technical teams. Influence management decisions on business solutions. Collaborate with marketing and field personnel to gather feedback. Translate customer needs into product requirements and specifications. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Mentor technicians and entry-level engineers. Establish business relationships and interact with vendors. Lead projects or represent specialized fields in larger teams. Conduct root cause analysis of design-related complaints. Support regulatory team with market registrations and submissions. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or related field. 7+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelors, or 5+ years with a Masters. Hands-on experience in medical device design, materials, and processes. Proficiency with SolidWorks 3D CAD. Experience in project execution through product launch. Independent worker with problem-solving skills and root cause analysis experience. Willingness to work onsite at Arden Hills, MN (4+ days/week). Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing test methods and fixtures. Hands-on with test systems and development of new test systems. Knowledge of implantable medical devices. Experience with product data management systems. PE licensure or EIT certification preferred. Requisition ID: 605013 Salary Range: $82,600 - $156,900.
