Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will work on an engineering team which provides support and development of final assembly processes with a focus on material flow processes and equipment. This manufacturing engineering role will provide engineering support, develop, and improve processes, plus work on short or long duration engineering projects including implementation of high impact, automated systems! This individual will also work closely with other functional groups and sites with a focus on driving innovative solutions to better serve our internal and external customers. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Provide production support for Material Flow areas Participate and/or lead high-impact automation projects related to Material Flow Design and optimize material flow processes to establish efficient warehouse storage, delivery to production lines, receiving raw goods, and shipping finished goods. Interact on a regular basis with other functional groups and customers or vendors on technical and/or administrative matters Work with operations, supply chain, planning and other engineering departments to develop site logistics and material storage plans. Provide project management leadership and/or support for critical programs. May supervise a team of Manufacturing Support Specialists. Be part of a rotation providing on-call support as necessary.
