Senior IT Engineer – System & Network Administration (Bilingual-Korean)

Manage and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers, including installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning.
Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core infrastructure services.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and VPNs.
Collaborate with the network team to ensure secure and optimized network connectivity.
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
Provide Tier 3 support for escalated technical issues.
Participate in IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and security initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in system administration, with exposure to network/firewall administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
Hands-on experience with firewall configuration and network security.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Experience with monitoring tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, RHCE, CCNA, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual (English/Korean)
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Knowledge of ITIL practices.
Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune).
Understanding of Zero Trust and modern security frameworks.
