About the Role: A leading global battery manufacturer is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to oversee and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure at its U.S. production facility in Queen Creek, Arizona. This role is critical to maintaining stable systems, minimizing downtime, and supporting large-scale technology initiatives in coordination with global headquarters. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure, hands-on problem-solving ability, and a strong understanding of manufacturing IT environments.
Requirements Key Responsibilities: Review and execute enterprise-level IT investments, ensuring alignment with global IT strategies.
Manage and optimize core IT infrastructure, including data centers, servers, and network systems.
Conduct regular system health checks and infrastructure inspections to reduce downtime and improve performance.
Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance security, usability, and operational efficiency.
Design, develop, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions, including software, hardware, applications, and networks.
Provide on-site support for IT hardware and peripherals, including PCs, PDAs, printers, and network devices.
Establish procurement processes for IT assets and manage IT-related expenses and vendor relationships.
Coordinate closely with global and regional IT teams to support international projects and align initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field required; MBA or MS preferred (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system engineering, or technical project management.
Bilingual in English and Korean (required).
Strong technical knowledge of IT networks, systems, and hardware.
Flexibility to work extended hours or coordinate with global teams in other time zones.
Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with infrastructure design, network setup, and server management.
Familiarity with manufacturing IT environments and production systems.
Project management (PM) experience.
Programming knowledge (optional but a plus).
Cisco certifications or equivalent technical credentials (preferred).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
Benefits Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $118,000 – $149,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
