Halo Industries, Inc., a pioneer in manufacturing innovation with light-based technologies, seeks a highly skilled Senior System Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. Our proprietary advancements replace traditional processes with novel light-based equivalents, offering higher quality, lower cost, and enhanced functionality. As we rapidly expand our operations, we're looking for a team to oversee our prototype systems' integration and verification activities.
The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior System Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for the successful integration, testing, and deployment of our cutting-edge laser-based wafer manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of complex electro-mechanical systems, software integration, and data analysis, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities ● Integrate and test complex laser-based systems, including optical, mechanical, electrical, and software components. ● Perform detailed system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis of integration issues. ● Help develop and implement automation tools for system test and data acquisition. ● Collect and analyze system performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. ● Configure and optimize system parameters for reliable operation. ● Develop detailed assembly procedures for complex optomechanical subsystems, and validation test plans for subsystem validation. ● Present findings and recommendations to engineering and management teams. ● Develop and maintain system documentation, including assembly procedures, test procedures, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides. ● Work closely with cross-functional teams, including optical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing personnel. ● Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. ● Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on system design and integration. Requirements Basic Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. ● 5+ years of experience in system integration, preferably in a semiconductor, laser, or precision manufacturing environment. ● Experience with assembling and testing complex electro-mechanical systems, including optics, lasers, motion control, and automation. ● Experience with Electrical Lab Equipment: DMM, Variable Power Supply, Oscilloscope, Function Generators ● Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python).
Preferred Qualifications ● Proficiency in software programming languages such as Python, C#, or similar. ● Experience with laser systems and optical alignment. ● Knowledge of semiconductor wafer manufacturing processes. ● Experience with automation tools and frameworks. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
