Essential:

UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client. Lead the design and delivery of highway engineering schemes from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, legislation and regulations. Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support. Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications. Conduct site visits and inspections, and liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and contractors.

Desirable:

Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIHT. Project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, resources, and schedules effectively. A full UK driving licence.
