As a Senior Google Cloud Engineer, you'll lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Google Cloud solutions, focusing on performance, reliability, security, and cost-efficiency. You'll play a pivotal role in guiding customers through cloud adoption, implementing automation, and enhancing cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Architect, deploy, and optimize Google Cloud solutions. Ensure infrastructure scalability, resilience, and cost-efficiency. Lead technical discussions, providing guidance on cloud adoption and optimization. Conduct Well-Architected Reviews to improve cloud environments. Automation & CI/CD: Implement automation using Terraform, Cloud Build, and CI/CD pipelines. Manage and optimize Kubernetes (GKE), Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Compute Engine. Support microservices architectures for scalability. Security & Compliance: Oversee cloud security using Google Security Command Center, IAM, and VPC Service Controls. Implement best practices for data protection and compliance. Mentor junior engineers, providing technical leadership and guidance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, customer success) to align solutions with business goals. Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical operations and incident management. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience). Master's degree + 2 years of experience or 8+ years in a related role also acceptable. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Cloud services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, VPC networking. Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, microservices architecture. Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager. Cloud security best practices (IAM, compliance frameworks). Preferred Skills: Multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, hybrid cloud). Experience with Google Anthos. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, agile methodologies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
