We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to lead the development and optimization of our UI architecture using modern JavaScript tools. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial part in building fast, accessible, and maintainable applications with Next.js, enhancing our design system, and driving front-end performance. Your Responsibilities: Create complex, reusable interfaces using React and Next.js. Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs while managing authentication flows and edge cases. Audit for and enhance accessibility with tools like axe-core and keyboard testing. Optimize frontend performance using techniques like lazy loading and Lighthouse audits. Maintain and expand test coverage with Playwright or similar testing frameworks. Contribute to shared design systems and token-based styling. Collaborate closely with design and product teams to implement user-focused features. Mentor junior developers and influence architectural decisions. About You: 7+ years of front-end development experience, especially with React and Next.js. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript in production environments. Experience building fast, accessible applications at scale. Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and frontend test automation. What Makes You Stand Out: In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA standards and accessibility auditing tools. Experience leading or contributing to component libraries and design systems. Strong debugging and performance profiling skills. Able to conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers. Familiar with layout patterns, caching strategies, and server-side/incremental static rendering trade-offs. Insight into UX design principles and usability testing methodologies. Pay Range: USD $110,385.00 - USD $157,695.00 / Year. Actual salaries may vary based on experience and location.
