The Opportunity Altruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase, and we're excited to hire Senior Front End Engineers to join our growing Engineering org. We currently have high impact, high visibility openings on our High Yield Cash and Accounts teams. Your Impact Work with product, design, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs. Present designs to the technology team with clear breakdowns of tasks and deliverables. Lead with engineering best practices and make decisions based on measurable metrics. Define the architecture for systems with a clear vision for both short- and long-term business needs. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, autonomy, and open communication across teams. Coach and mentor junior developers and ensure deadlines for your team's deliverables are met. Uphold high standards of integrity for data accuracy, quality, and system uptime, as we handle sensitive financial information. What You Bring 3+ years of experience building highly scalable and intuitive front ends for B2B, B2C, or consumer-facing web applications. Ideally, a B.A. / B.S. degree in computer science or a related engineering or mathematics field. Technical aptitude—familiarity with modern tech stacks (we use React.js, Typescript, and GraphQL). Strong ownership and pride in your work. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen and share ideas effectively. Resilience and determination to succeed despite challenges. Confidence, humility, and openness to new perspectives. Creative problem-solving skills to find effective solutions to roadblocks. Bonus points if you are flexible and willing to assist with back-end tasks as needed.
