Our Audio Engineering team is seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Firmware Development Engineer. In this dynamic role, you will lead the charge in bringing exciting new product innovations to market, developing and refining the software that powers Logitech's state-of-the-art Video Collaboration devices. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the firmware engineering team to build and sustain infrastructure for new audio algorithms in our Video Collaboration systems. Taking ownership of new products and platforms from initial concept to market release. Working alongside cross-functional teams including audio, hardware, and software to implement new technologies and features based on defined requirements. Being an active team member by conducting code reviews, offering constructive feedback, and assisting with debugging throughout the audio teams. Implementing and maintaining audio over network features, such as IP and AVB. Leading initiatives focused on tools and protocols that enhance team workflows. Thriving in a global, hybrid work environment that bridges remote and onsite collaboration. Qualifications: 7+ years of hands-on experience in low-level software and firmware development. Proficient in modern development methodologies, including CI/CD and familiar with tools such as Jenkins. Expertise in Advanced C/C++ within environments like Linux, Android, or bare-metal. Knowledge of Alsa/Aaudio/HAL and the Android build system. Proficient in scripting languages, especially Bash. Experience in writing multithreaded code and debugging complex real-time systems. Preferred Skills: Dev/Ops experience and familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies. Experience with the Qualcomm audio stack and Node/Javascript. Understanding of TSN, AVB, and QoS networking. Background in Audio Software Development, DSP, or Audio Machine Learning. Familiarity with tools like Yocto, Gerrit/Git, and Jira. Understanding of Security Enhanced (SE) Linux. We offer a competitive compensation package, with an annual salary range of $116,000 to $170,000. This position may be based remotely or in-person at our San Jose, CA office, or our UK locations in Windsor or London, or in Krakow, Poland.
