Job Title We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and be able to lead projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise and problem-solving skills for capital project and sustaining efforts.
Develop dynamic facility design project work at all stages of assigned projects.
Lead and implement the design and development of project construction drawings and specifications.
Work with Quality Control/Quality Engineering (QE/QC) Team to perform regulated structural inspection and provide disposition for other findings accurately scheduled for future rehabs.
Assist Emergency Response Team to prepare Engineering Earthquake Response Program, drill plan, mobilizing post-earthquake inspection, participate in Earthquake Early Warning program.
Respond timely to structural assessment request resort wide, including vehicular collisions, reported indications, and others.
Requirements: Professional design experience in a wide range of project types and construction types.
Construction Administration experience including site observation, review of RFIs and Submittals.
Knowledge of the California Building Code, ASCE 7, ASCE 41, ACI 318, NDS, AISC, and TMS.
Demonstrate leadership, team building skills, and mentoring engineers.
Strong written, verbal, and graphical communication skills with experience communicating analyses and issues to all levels of executive management.
Education and Qualifications: BS in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
7+ years professional experience working in Structural Engineering.
Civil PE License in the State of California.
