JOB SUMMARY:

TechServ is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a PE license and substantial experience in the Utility Industry. As an Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client-specific standards, and providing expert guidance on engineering designs and solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and oversee engineering projects from receival through to successful completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality deliverables. Review, approve, and validate engineering designs, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility within. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout all project phases. Apply in-depth knowledge of electrical concepts, industry practices, codes, and procedures specific to the utility sector. Provide leadership and expert guidance to the joint use engineering team, mentoring and developing less experienced engineers and designers. Prepare, present, and communicate technical reports, proposals, and findings to stakeholders. Lead the QA/QC process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project requirements. Facilitate clear and effective communication across design disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution. Ensure compliance with client and site-specific safety policies and procedures. Partner with leadership and team members to support and drive internal change initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, from an accredited institution. Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE). 5-7 years of experience in the utility industry. Strong understanding of engineering principles, theories, and concepts. Proficient in engineering design software and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Prior experience in project management is preferred.
