We are looking for a talented engineer… To join our Energy Projects team as an Senior Energy Engineer. You will support the development and delivery of retrofit energy efficiency and electrification design-build projects by providing engineering schematic design, energy calculations, measurement and verification, and technical assistance. You will also be called upon to lead development of technical strategies addressing existing commercial building project opportunities, conduct energy savings analysis, and perform commissioning (Cx) or retro-commissioning (RCx) work. This position will also support our team’s business development efforts and will proactively seek new project opportunities. For this opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can… Perform ASHRAE level II and III audits unassisted to assess energy systems at commercial facilities Provide cost-effective energy efficiency measure (EEM) recommendations that will modify HVAC systems or optimize O&M procedures to increase energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact Scope significant engineering related work such as design schematics, key mechanical equipment selection, and control strategies Calculate EEM energy savings using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, fan laws, thermodynamics, algebra, and statistics Collaborate effectively with other engineers, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and facility managers to ensure successful project implementation Deliver Cx to ensure implemented EEMs function as designed and lead RCx to improve the HVAC performance of existing buildings Prepare detailed project reports outlining recommendations, findings, and project progress To apply for this exciting career opportunity, you will have… 8+ years professional experience in energy-related services Strong HVAC systems background including controls and energy-efficient technologies and practices; design build retrofit energy project experience as well as ITAC (previously IAC) experience are pluses. BS degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field CEM or CMVP preferred PE required Target Compensation: $140,000.00 USD Compensation Range $98,000.00 - $147,100.00 Currency USD Type Salary Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
