Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement firmware for ESP32-based devices using C/C++. Optimize low-level code for microcontroller applications, focusing on performance, memory usage, and power efficiency. Implement long-range wireless connectivity technologies in embedded devices. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with electronic components. Troubleshoot and debug complex embedded systems issues. Develop data exchange interfaces for seamless interaction between devices and central control systems. Document code, system architectures, and development processes. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Continuously update expertise by tracking advancements and adopting cutting-edge industry standards. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in embedded systems programming. Expertise in developing applications using C and C++ coding languages. In-depth experience with ESP32 and Arduino development environments. Proficient in using Visual Studio Code and PlatformIO for coding and project management. Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient code for resource-constrained devices. Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices for embedded systems. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Preferred: Experience with GUI design using SquareLine Studio (LVGL). Familiarity with Xojo cross-platform development tools. Experience in electrical engineering principles and printed circuit board design. Understanding of physics principles related to heating and cooling systems. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS). Familiarity with wireless communication protocols such as BLE, WiFi, and MQTT.
