Responsibilities Include

The design of electrical systems for dams, hydropower and utility engineering projects Preparing plans and specifications of electrical systems for bidding and construction Project management and/or technical leadership on large and/or complex projects Providing construction administration and site visits Mentoring staff; coordinating work and communication between subcontractors, teaming partners and suppliers Client management

Some travel will be required.

The Successful Candidate Must Have All Of The Following

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university At least eighteen (18) years of relevant electrical engineering experience A PE in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states within six (6) months of hire

The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all Of The Following

Experience with/proficiency in interpreting power and controls schematics Understanding of/experience with technical equipment operations and maintenance manuals (O&M) and experience analyzing equipment failures Experience with arc flash hazards and program development Knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFD) and industrial pumps Experience using MODBUS communication for controls Understanding of medium voltage distribution systems Experience with power system studies, system planning and operations, and equipment specifications Knowledge of/experience the coordination with other engineering fields

Salary Range: $140,000 to $204,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
