They are building a software platform that automates the most time-consuming and manual part of hardware development : PCB layout. Leveraging a deep understanding of physics and cutting-edge machine learning techniques, their tool aims to produce production-ready circuit board blueprints in hours instead of weeks. The company's mission is to empower electrical engineers by eliminating the tedium of layout work, enabling faster iteration, better designs, and ultimately a new standard for hardware engineering. Backed by top-tier investors, they are working with some of the most innovative hardware teams in the world. What You Will Do As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be the bridge between the company's core engineering team and its customers. This is a product-focused role where your real-world expertise in board design will help shape and improve the software platform. Your responsibilities will include : Supporting customers during onboarding and ongoing usage of the self-service tool Translating customer schematics and requirements into optimal design configurations Evaluating board outputs and making design recommendations for buildability and performance Building boards internally for demonstration and testing purposes Serving as a key liaison between customers and the internal product / engineering teams Advocating for customer needs and helping prioritize product roadmap features Ideal Candidate Background We're looking for a seasoned electrical engineer with deep experience in complex board design. The ideal candidate will have : 7-12 years of experience designing high-complexity circuit boards (e.g., motherboards, AI accelerators, flight computers) Strong background in electrical engineering fundamentals and simulation Titles such as Senior, Principal, or Lead Hardware / Electronics Design Engineer Proficiency in board design tools such as Altium and Cadence Experience with high-speed digital design, RF, or high-power systems A passion for improving tools and processes that serve the engineering community Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the company to technical stakeholders Preferred Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Experience working at both startups and larger companies with rigorous design review processes Prior experience with simulation tools like SPICE, SIwave, HFSS, or HyperLynx Familiarity with product development cycles from prototype through production Desire to move into product-focused or hybrid technical roles Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary of $180,000 Equity package of ~0.1% (benchmarked against other Series A companies) Health, dental, and vision coverage The chance to work at the intersection of software, AI, and hardware The opportunity to solve a long-standing pain point in engineering workflows A high-ownership role with visibility into product direction and company strategy Why This Opportunity is Exciting This is not just another electrical engineering role.
