Senior Diagnostics Engineer

Responsibilities:

-Establishing through and complete methods do deliver OBD technical requirements to all internal customers

-Mentoring team members on delivering complete OBD requirements for modules and vehicles including successful delivery of requirements to customers

-Ensure that processes and templates are built, known by the PSO team and applied to produce the Customer approved OBD work-products

-Communicate with teams that support Propulsion Systems OBD (PSO) and Customers

-Ensure the on-time delivery of the OBD requirements to customers Pay rate is up to $44.14/hour. Apply now! Requirements:

-Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Software or Controls Engineering.

-Minimum of 8 years’ experience in OBD requirements, controls, software, or calibration

-Proficient using INCA, Matlab and Simulink/Stateflow

-Understanding of the goals of On-Board Diagnostics

-Functional understanding controls, Software and CAN communication

-Basic proficiency with the major purpose & components in an electrified propulsion system

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and business acumen

-Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database applications Preferred Requirements:

-Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Software or Controls Engineering

-Experience presenting to, and communicating directly with Government regulatory agencies

-Previous Propulsion Systems experience

-Experience designing and implementing new diagnostics

-12 years’ experience in OBD requirements, controls, software, or calibration within the electric, gasoline or diesel industry

-INCA, Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Minitab, C++ and Visual Basic experience
