Salary: About Us

Royalis seeking a qualified Senior Civil Engineer to support theU.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mobile District Construction DivisionatColumbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. This position is part of a large-scale construction program and doesnot involve design work. The assignment will lastone year, with the possibility oftwo optional extension yearsbased on project needs and performance. The selected candidate will play a key role in construction oversight, inspection, project coordination, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Oversight: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Project Coordination: Collaborate with military personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders to support improvement efforts. Contract Administration: Act as a Contracting Officers Representative (COR), reviewing contractor performance, managing change orders, and verifying invoice accuracy. Technical Documentation: Prepare reports, recommendations, and documentation related to project status, inspections, and compliance reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required. Experience in construction management, inspection, or contract oversight. Familiarity with federal or military construction standards is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
