We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer who has their NYS PE. This person can work remotely if not located near Buffalo, Albany, or Manhattan.

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of innovative and challenging projects from the comfort of your own home. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and overseeing civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will have the chance to showcase your expertise in the use of Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in the field to take their career to the next level.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a variety of civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
* Prepare, review, and approve technical documents, including design plans, specifications, and feasibility studies.
* Utilize advanced software applications such as Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD to create detailed engineering designs and plans.
* Collaborate with various teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
* Oversee project cost estimates and schedules, and monitor project progress to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
* Ensure all designs and projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
* New York State Professional Engineer (NYS PE) or EIT preferred
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on design, project management, and construction oversight.
* Expertise in using engineering software such as Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD is essential.
* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and methods.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
* Must be detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
* Ability to work remotely and manage your time effectively.
