Key Responsibilities:
Develop, launch, and scale self-service analytics and insights offerings
Over 5 years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, data engineering, or a related field
Proficient in data modeling, SQL, ETL, data warehousing, and data lakes
Strong understanding of engineering and operational best practices
Expert-level SQL skills, with proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
Familiarity with AWS products like Redshift and Quicksight
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at summarizing findings and conveying information to both business and technical stakeholders
About the Team: The Analytics team is a small, central group within AWS Support, combining diverse expertise ranging from strategy and planning to machine learning and business intelligence. This team is tasked with advancing our understanding of products, processes, and customers to create long-term value through insightful analysis.

Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of SQL experience
Proven expertise in programming for data extraction, transformation, and cleaning of large datasets
Experience with experiment design and statistical analysis
Automation scripting skills (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL proficiency
Knowledge of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining principles
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to align data insights with business needs
Proven ability to manage and communicate analytical results to senior leadership
