Pay Range: $75 - $80 per hour

This role may require travel to business meetings and events and requires reliable transportation to do so. If a hire chooses to drive with customers as their passengers or for other business reasons, hires must be in possession and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Job Summary: Join our Cloud Management Platform group as a Senior Backend Software Engineer to develop and design scalable microservices for activating cloud products. We are looking for passionate engineers with senior-level experience to develop next-generation technologies within our Shared Services team. Your role will involve close collaboration with development teams and product managers to create innovative backend solutions, ensuring high-quality software delivery and contributing to our continuous improvement culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust backend services using GoLang and NodeJS.

Architect and manage NoSQL or SQL databases and applications.

Develop effective REST APIs supporting versioning.

Write test-driven, high-quality code and produce comprehensive functional and design specifications.

Innovate within the team by bringing new ideas and improving existing frameworks.

Must-have Skills:

Proficiency in GoLang and Node.js development.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes ecosystems.

Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, SQL databases).

Preferred Industry Experience:

Prior experience in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and familiar with CI/CD processes, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform will be advantageous.

Knowledge in DevOps practices, including observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), is highly beneficial.
