We focus on establishing best practices for technology solutions company-wide while delivering capabilities that reflect these practices. What You'll Do: Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects, managing a skilled team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems, aimed at meeting the company's regulatory needs.

Demonstrate your enthusiasm for technology trends by experimenting with new tools, engaging in internal and external tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally writing or reviewing code.

Work alongside digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans toward financial independence.

Utilize various programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, alongside both open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services (such as Docker and Kubernetes), and an array of AWS tools and services.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (note: internship experience does not apply)

At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree

7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js

2+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)

4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks

1+ years of people management experience

2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies
