Our Newest Opportunity: Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Audio-Visual Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support of advanced conference room and collaboration solutions across the organization. This role will work with technologies such as but not limited to Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and hardware from NEAT, Polycom, Logitech, AVer, and Apple iPads. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, solid networking knowledge, drive project initiatives to positive outcomes and a passion for delivering high-quality AV experiences that support business needs. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and implement complex AV systems tailored to business and meeting requirements.
Deploy and maintain Zoom Room and Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) environments, including hardware and software integration.
Install, configure, and support AV equipment including NEAT Bars, Polycom systems, Logitech Rally, AVer cameras, projectors, sound systems, and iPad controllers, for both on premises and remotely.
Conduct advanced troubleshooting of AV and network-related issues, including audio, video, control systems, and connectivity problems, for both on premises and remotely.
Calibrate audio and video systems for optimal performance and user experience.
Provide expert technical support for live events, executive meetings, and day-to-day conferencing needs.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, providing technical leadership and training.
Lead AV projects from design through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Document AV system designs, network topologies, room configurations, and support procedures.
Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and vendor partners to ensure seamless AV and IT system integration.
Stay current with emerging AV technologies, unified communications trends, and best practices.
Networking and Technical Competencies: Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including the OSI model (Layers 1, 2, and 3). Ability to troubleshoot IP-based AV systems, including addressing issues related to switching, routing, VLANs, and basic firewall rules, remotely and on premises locations. Familiarity with network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SIP. Ability to work with IT teams to configure ports, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure optimal performance of AV over IP systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
5–7+ years of progressive experience in AV engineering, installation, and support.
Experienced with Large Enterprise enviroments, services and solutions(multi-site and remote office)
Proficiency in deploying and supporting Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and similar collaboration platforms.
Familiar with Zoom app and Zoom Portal solutions( SSO, Vanity URL, User Management, etc…)
Hands-on experience with NEAT, Polycom, Logitech, AVer hardware, and iOS device integration.
Strong understanding of AV signal flow, networking basics (including SIP and VoIP protocols), and room acoustics.
Experience with AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or similar is a plus.
Knowledge of low-voltage wiring, cable management, and termination standards.
Certification in AV technologies such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist - Design) is highly preferred.
Additional networking certifications (e.g., CCNA) are a plus.
Skills and Competencies: Expertise in conference room design, AV staging, and system optimization.
Strong project management skills; ability to lead AV initiatives from planning through execution.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex AV and network-related issues quickly.

High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Work Environment: Primarily onsite support with occasional travel between office locations.
Flexibility for after-hours support during critical events or deployments as needed.
Physical ability to lift and install AV equipment as part of room setups.
