NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire an Application Engineer to support a Federal Agency. This role is located 100% onsite at Fort Sam Houston, TX. Candidate must be eligible for a Secret Clearance. Key Responsibilities: Provide expertise in the design, architecture, development, and administration of enterprise applications. Write custom scripts to automate tasks and reduce human intervention in enterprise environments. Monitor system integrity, install and configure software and operating systems, and oversee new hardware and software implementation. Design and implement security systems, redundant backups, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards. Establish multi-platform versions of software packages and create tests to ensure compatibility and stability. Perform complex tasks and provide supervision to IT support staff. Support and maintain website and SharePoint environments, including content updates and new development. Develop applications in Microsoft Power Apps and integrate software with SharePoint to optimize workflows. Design and enhance web and SharePoint sites with graphics, menus, and tools while ensuring regulatory compliance. Design and customize SharePoint sites based on user requirements to enhance functionality and user experience. Qualifications Required Qualifications and Certifications: Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating required proficiency. Bachelors degree and/or equivalency. Candidate must be eligible for a Secret Clearance. IAT II certification, compliant with DoD 8570.01-M requirements. (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSE, Security+ CE, SSCP, CySA+ **) CE: Professional level certificate Ability to work 100% onsite at Fort Sam Houston, TX. Preferred Qualifications and Certifications: Previous Federal Consulting Experience. Experience in developing automated enterprise solutions. Strong understanding of multi-platform software development. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
