About the Role We're seeking a hands-on Senior AI Developer/Principal Engineer to build and scale our generative AI capabilities from the ground up.
As the Lead Engineer , you’ll serve as a strategic partner to product leadership , architect technical solutions , and drive execution across our AI stack .
You’ll lead the end-to-end development of LLM-powered applications, influence the company’s AI direction, and establish foundational infrastructure to support innovation and growth.

What You’ll Do Hands-on Prototyping Rapidly prototype and launch GenAI-powered products—transforming early-stage ideas into real, user-facing systems.
Collaborate across engineering, design, and product teams to refine use cases and drive from MVP to production.
Strategic AI Leadership Define and evolve the company’s Generative AI vision, roadmap, and architecture .
Partner with product and engineering leadership to align AI capabilities with business and user needs.
Guide build-vs-buy decisions, open-source adoption, and model strategy (API-based vs. self-hosted).
System Design & Technical Execution Architect full-stack GenAI systems—spanning RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and intelligent document processing (IDP).
Lead technical execution across model integration (GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA, etc.), orchestration (LangGraph, CrewAI), retrieval, prompting, and evaluation.
Build reusable AI infrastructure and tooling to enable faster iteration and more scalable AI development.
Model Evaluation & Optimization Evaluate and benchmark LLMs, prompt strategies, and RAG configurations to optimize performance and latency.
Define success metrics and implement feedback loops for continuous model and product improvement. Team Building & Mentorship Act as a player-coach:
build alongside the team while mentoring engineers on best practices in LLM development.
Help shape the future of the AI org by influencing hiring, tooling, workflows, and culture.
What You Bring 6+ years in engineering roles, including recent experience in GenAI, NLP, or ML-based product development . 1-2 years in mentoring/leadership of AI Engineers.
N8N workflow automation knowledge Proven track record of leading AI/ML initiatives end-to-end —from design to production—at startups or fast-scaling tech companies.
Deep expertise with LLMs, RAG architecture, agentic frameworks , and intelligent document workflows.
Experience with GenAI tools like LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex , and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).
Strong backend engineering skills and cloud experience (preferably AWS ), with an emphasis on building scalable, secure, and observable systems.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills—you bring clarity and leadership in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments.
Bonus Points For Knowledge of Bedrock is a huge plus.
Prior experience as a founding engineer, tech lead, or AI leader in an early-stage company.
Experience designing or deploying IDP, form parsing, OCR, or document understanding systems .
Knowledge of LLM evaluation frameworks , prompt testing strategies, and human-in-the-loop systems.
