Position Overview
Are you an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for cloud-native and mobile development in the IoT space? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Agile Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Understanding high-level business requirements to produce comprehensive technical specifications, designs, and architectures.
Estimating work assignments accurately.
Designing, developing, and delivering production-quality applications.
Participating in product requirement and design reviews.
Collaborating effectively as part of a distributed team while working remotely.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
5+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET development using C# alongside ASP.NET, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Windows Services.
5+ years of experience with SQL.
Experience in IoT development.
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
Proficiency with Azure Cloud Services, including designing, developing, hosting, scaling, and supporting cloud-native solutions.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
Ability to work with global teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Willingness to travel to Kennesaw, GA, or West Palm Beach, FL, for up to one week per quarter.
Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available for this position).
Preferred Experience & Skills:
10+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET development using C# with ASP.NET.
10+ years of experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery; Angular 2+ experience is a plus.
2+ years of experience with Angular, WPF, and Winforms.
Familiarity with Xamarin.
Experience with Google/Bing Maps API.
Socket programming experience.
Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture.
Experience in migration from on-premise to cloud solutions.
