Team Overview: Edward Jones is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to help our System Security group lead technology and transformation efforts. This individual will be responsible for working with cross-functional groups to design, configure, and deploy security infrastructure. This role will provide leadership related to the technical aspects of tools, methodologies, standards, regulations, and best practices within their area(s) of expertise. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience with networking and encryption(PKI).

What You'll Do: Evaluate the security posture of existing security infrastructure to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to implement, configure, improve security solutions across systems, networks, and applications Develop and maintain systems, security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices Design, implement, and manage enterprise PKI systems and processes Design and secure network architecture/solutions (segmentation, firewalls, zero-trust etc…) Act as a subject matter expert in core security domains, providing guidance and technical leadership to cross-functional engineering teams
