Seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide specialized school-based care in a contract role located in Hayward, CA. This position involves delivering 1:1 physical therapy services to a middle school student with a traumatic brain injury, supporting their unique rehabilitation needs. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide focused 1:1 therapy sessions with a middle school student 1-2 hours per month * Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the student's abilities and goals * Collaborate with educational and clinical staff to track progress and adjust therapy as needed * Facilitate physical activities that promote mobility, strength, and functional independence in a school setting * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and educational standards
Desired Qualifications:
* Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with experience in school-based therapy * Proven ability to manage complex cases, including traumatic brain injury rehabilitation * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and medical teams * Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care * Familiarity with school therapy documentation and regulatory requirements
