Key Responsibilities: Create systems and services for ingesting, processing, and visualizing extensive satellite telemetry data. Build real-time monitoring systems to detect anomalies, recognize emerging trends, and proactively alert stakeholders to critical situations. Ensure exceptional reliability, uptime, and performance across systems managing telemetry streams from thousands of endpoints. Develop software systems that align with mission criteria and requirements. Collaborate with team members to establish a robust foundation for our software organization in Project Kuiper. Assist in onboarding new team members. Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to create highly available software services. Export Control Requirement: Due to regulatory laws, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems. Experience with at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of comprehensive software development life cycle experience, covering coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Our compensation spans various U.S. geographic markets, with base pay ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 per year, influenced by market location and individual qualifications.
