Position Overview:

The Sales Engineer (SE) is a customer-facing role that leans heavily into sales and account management, with a strong foundation in technical understanding. This individual will manage a portfolio of direct industrial accounts, drive new business development, and act as a trusted advisor to customers. The SE will work closely with catalog houses, OEMs, engineering firms, and end-users to promote Seametrics products, build customer loyalty, and expand our market presence. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a consultative sales environment and is comfortable traveling to engage with customers across the U.S.

The SE is expected to become a technical expert on the product through training while also understanding how customers use the products in the field and the value they expect to gain from the product. As an expert in the field, the SE provides most training to their respective accounts while searching for new opportunities within legacy business and new accounts. New accounts with an appropriate business case will fall under SE while others will be rolled into the current distribution network.
