(RP) Senior Fellow - Manufacturing Engineer Full-time North Star Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Fellow in Manufacturing Engineering to work for our client in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will: Help resolve top technical issues and work with the senior team to assess discipline capability. Lead talent and technology development strategies for the discipline. Develop Manufacturing Standard Work and System Tools to support Manufacturing Engineers. Influence factory design, supplier selection, and leverage technology to achieve operational goals such as product cost, quality, and performance. Possibly hold an organizational position with additional responsibilities. **Experience:** 15+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably with aerospace gas turbine engines or related fields. Expertise in raw material processes, machining (conventional and non-conventional), special processes, inspection, automation, additive manufacturing, and related areas. Experience with statistical process control, lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and cost reduction. Proven leadership in solving manufacturing issues and mentoring teams. Experience in developing and implementing standard processes. **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related; or Master's/PhD in Manufacturing or related fields. Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution systems, standard work, and skills development. Familiarity with PPAP and process certification.
