Retread Process Engineer Rock Hill, SC (Hybrid schedule three days a week onsite) 3 to 4 Months Contract with possible extension

This position has primary responsibility to improve and train on the shop floor process and equipment at our CLC Partners, as well as, provide technical support for CLC equipment as needed for Client, the Americas division. Principal accountabilities (Individual tasks, duties and responsibilities of the position) Develop, implement and maintain process instructions and specifications for ContiLifeCycle (CLC) retreading partners

Conduct process compliance audits and provide summary reporting to management on retreader capabilities and compliance. Provide support of quality systems for the dealer partners as needed

Support technical customer services with the process knowledge of anomalies found in the field

Provide technical input to and oversight of the process training for the retreaders

Support the creation, usage and enhancements to traceability of products through the retread shop

Provide continuous improvement support to the retread process and collaborate closely with R&D on implementing new processes

Position specifications Educational ** Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field

2 years of industry experience

Experience in leading projects or teams

Specific skills and abilities (in order of importance): Advanced knowledge of MS Office products

Internal or external vocational * * Experience training in the retread process

5+ years experience in engineering/maintenance

Physical and mental demands (Travel, lifting restrictions, etc.) Able to move large truck tires, with lift assistance

Able to stand for long periods of time, 2+ hours
