Position Overview We are seeking a Senior API Engineer to design, develop, and enhance applications that connect data from back-end systems to multiple endpoints, particularly for financial systems. This role involves API development, full-stack engineering, and cloud-based application deployment. You will work in an Agile environment as part of a cross-functional team, contributing to high-quality, automated, and efficient software delivery.
Key Responsibilities Implement solutions through the full software development lifecycle (design, code, configure, test, deploy). Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical designs and specifications. Develop APIs, web components, and cloud services (Azure/AWS). Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and defect remediation. Enforce coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with peers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to process improvements. Operate in a test-driven development environment. Maintain and develop at least three applications, proficient in at least two programming languages.
Required Skills & Experience Programming: Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and at least one in-demand language. Frameworks & Architecture: MVVM, MVP, Hexagonal, Clean Architecture. Cloud Platforms: Azure (or AWS equivalent) - App Service, Functions, Pipelines. DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, test automation, version control. Agile Methodologies: Scrum, Kanban. Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen. Full-stack engineering experience (front-end & back-end).
Nice to Have Experience with domain APIs and service engineering. Financial services or marketing domain knowledge.
