Reliability Engineer

We’re looking for a Reliability Engineer who’s passionate about optimizing equipment performance, reducing downtime, and championing a culture of safety and continuous improvement. In this highly impactful role, you’ll serve as a key resource for maintenance strategy, leading initiatives to improve the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our production equipment.
What You’ll Do:
Lead efforts to improve and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Conduct root cause failure analyses (RCFA) and take ownership of corrective actions.
Develop and document predictive maintenance techniques including vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize daily and scheduled outage work.
Train and mentor hourly technicians on PM techniques and best practices.
Oversee contractors during outages, ensuring safety, cost control, and flawless execution.
Evaluate emerging maintenance technologies and drive continuous improvements across the mill.
Champion a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, oil sampling, etc.).
Background in paper manufacturing or heavy industrial environments preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reliability-related data tools.
Availability for off-hours support when troubleshooting is needed.
Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
